Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Lindale Area Holdings LLC (“LAH”, “we”, “us”), as program operator and data owner, collects through lindalesc.com and lindaleareaholdings.com, how we use it, and the choices you have; Lindale Area Sports Complex LLC (“LASC”) is an affiliate service provider and prospective operator that may access information for the stated purposes and may maintain or operate LindaleSC.com only under a written license or services arrangement with LAH. LASC’s role does not transfer ownership of the site, domains, supporter data, or project intellectual property.
What we collect
Community Supporter signups: your name, email address, ZIP code, and whether you want your name listed publicly. Founding Supporter (paid) signups: the same, plus your level, how you want your name to appear, and any note you choose to write. Business listings: business name, contact person and contact email (not shown publicly), and the public phone, email, website, city and logo you choose to provide. Club registrations: club name, contact person, contact email, website or social media link, sport, number of teams, average team size, how the club is interested in using LASC, an optional logo, and whether the club allows us to display its name and logo. Partner inquiries: your name, organization, email, phone, city, the type of partnership and your message, used only to respond to your inquiry. Payments: made through a hosted checkout operated by our bank; we receive confirmation of payment, not your card details. Site analytics: cookieless, aggregate visitor statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics). Spotlight counts: the number of times a Diamond supporter’s spotlight is shown and clicked, kept for our own use. Technical information: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard connection data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use advertising cookies.
How we use it
To count and report community support for the project. Reports to local councils and other officials show totals, including totals by ZIP code and by level. Individual supporters’ names appear only if you choose to be listed publicly. To plan the facility: club names, sports and team numbers may be shared with local officials to show demand. To display your name (if you opted in), a business listing, and a club’s name and logo (if permission was given), after review. To deliver notes you write to community decision makers, without your name unless you choose otherwise. To send transactional messages about signup, payment, listings, requests, and material program changes. If you separately opt in, we send project news and project updates that identify the sender, include our postal address and provide an unsubscribe link. We do not sell or rent your information. We do not use the supporter list to offer investments.
Who can see it and security
Only authorized personnel of LAH and LASC can see email addresses and other contact details. Our service providers (Cloudflare, for hosting and storage; our bank, for payments; an AI service provider, to help staff sort messages and draft replies, with names, email addresses, phone numbers and ZIP codes removed first) process information on our behalf. We may disclose information if required by law.
Email: we use outside email service providers to send site notices (such as sign-up and listing confirmations) and project update emails. They handle your name and email address only to deliver those emails for us. Update emails go only to people who asked for them, and every one includes an unsubscribe link.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while the program runs and for three years after it ends, or until you ask us to remove it, whichever is earlier; business and payment records are kept as required by law.
Your choices
To see, correct or remove your information, to change how your name appears, or to stop receiving updates, email privacy@lindaleareaholdings.com.
Age
This site is not directed to children under 13, and LAH does not knowingly collect their information. You must be at least 18 to participate, submit a note, make a payment or authorize a public listing. A business or organization must act through an adult authorized representative.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
